A Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel Chapel Review
A total disappointment. Rude, rushed, and greedy.

Chapel Quality Description: The place is a dump, but they supposedly have the best themed weddings in Las Vegas, which is why we picked the place. I warned the guests ahead of time about the condition of the chapel. Basically I tried to hype up the "cheesiness" factor of having a Las Vegas wedding, but in all honesty, I was kind of embarassed. But we really wanted to do a themed wedding so we booked it anyway and hoped that it would be as good as the reviews all said.

Service Description: We booked the Gangster wedding. All 50 of our guests had to wait outside while another wedding was taking place. In fact, 2 weddings took place back to back before ours. We had to walk in front of all of our guests before our wedding could take place. Nobody knew what they were supposed to do and it was very chaotic for my wedding party. Then while they switched out the chapel for our wedding, we had 10 mins to rehearse which basically consisted of pointing to the spots where we were supposed to go. It was very confusing. I wanted to have my whole wedding party standing up front with us, but they only had room for 4 people so that was out. The party didn't even get to stand with us, but basically walked out just to take their seats in the front. Was definately not what I was envisioning.
I brought 2 candles with me for my dead mother and grandmother. They charged us $25 each just to light the candles that WE BROUGHT and to say a few words about my departed family members. I was shocked that they would make us pay for something like that. Fortunately the best man offered to pay for it, which was very sweet of him. But that left a very bad taste in my mouth.
The ceremony itself was cute, but I just about died when the "Godfather" started singing and we had to dance to his whole song which felt like it lasted 20 minutes.
Then to make matters worse, when it was all over, they took all of the wedding photographs of us right in front of the entire audience in complete silence while they were dismantling the room, no less. I must add that they do not allow guests to take photos of the wedding. They were very rude to my family members when they tried to take pictures and snapped at them to sit down. The reason for this is so they are the only ones who have the photos that you have to purchase later.
I wanted to crawl into a hole, I was so embarassed. I left there feeling very angry and upset. It really put a damper on our special day.
Also a word of caution- the free limo takes you to and from your hotel ONLY if it is on the strip. I guess they can't afford for it to turn left or right.
The only saving grace was our reception - which took place somewhere else. Thank goodness the night ended up being alot of fun.
I wish I would have done more research before picking this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. At the very least, I would give them fair warning.
