A Las Vegas Garden of Love Wedding Chapel Chapel Review Cheap, Quick, and Easy- What More Could I Ask For? 03/21/06, User: wildwendy Chapel Quality Rating: 3 Chapel Quality Description: What can I expect for under $400? The Las Vegas Garden of Love wedding chapel was the perfect quickie Las Vegas wedding. My boyfriend for two years finally popped the question. Of course, I said yes and we jumped in the car. We saw the Garden of Love on the way to getting our marriage license at the court house. The chapel wasn’t exactly the prettiest, but it looked like fun! When we arrived at the chapel we were able to get married right then and there. It was just what we hoped for. We both thought that the chapel was very pretty. By coincidence the flowers in the chapel matched my dress. It was so perfect. The ceremony lasted about 15 minutes- long enough to get me married. We were married by a minister who read standard vows. The minister went out of his way to make our ceremony special. For example, the minister asked us if we wanted any special vows or other meaningful passages read. My boyfriend, recited me a poem he wrote for me when we started dating. I couldn’t believe it. It was so romantic and it made me cry. A wedding CD played the wedding march while I walked down the aisle. As corny as this probably sounds, it was quite special to us. The chapel also was lit nicely. It was dim and romantic without being difficult to see in. Service Rating: 4 Service Description: Ok these people were friendly! The woman at the counter was very nice to us and helped us pick out everything. We were a bit pressured to buy some of the keepsake items, but this worked to my advantage because she helped talk my boyfriend into buying me a very pretty wedding ring. Also, the woman let me use the bathroom to touch up my hair and makeup. She definitely helped make the day special for us. We didn't have to wait because the Garden of Love has about 5 different chapels- this was also nice. The woman pressured us to tip the minister (I think $55 is minimum), but because we are from Las Vegas we are use to tipping. All in all, this was the perfect wedding for us.
