Chapel Quality Rating: 5
Chapel Quality Description: We chose the Magnolia Chapel for our ceremony and it was lovely. Wonderfully decorated in soft colors, impeccably clean, and the flowers were beautiful.
Service Rating: 5
Service Description: I originally found out about Little Chapel of The Flowers from visiting this website. I clicked on the links and checked it out. Liking what I saw, I wanted to book my service, but didn’t want to do it over the internet, I wanted to talk to a LIVE person. I called the 800-number and spoke with a very nice woman who discussed the different options available; chapels, services, flower selection and answered my questions about the photography. When it came time to book she suggested that I do it over the internet since the website offered "special savings" on photography packages. I check it out and got an EXCELLENT price and received additional pictures for upgrading the package. I picked the Chapel, my flower, his boutonnière, the date & time we wanted, etc... Our whole wedding was booked in 15 minutes and cost less than $300.00! Beat That!
When we arrived the day of our wedding my husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how nice Little Chapel of The Flowers is. Pictures on the internet normally depict what people want you to see - what we actually saw was much better. The grounds were very well tended; there was a bridge, pond, gazebo and more area's we didn’t get to see since other weddings were utilizing those areas.
The women in the office were very friendly and offered us beverages while we waited for our planner. While we waited (we were 10 minutes early) we were able to see them in action interacting with other families. Our planner came out and greeted us, went over our contract, she introduced us to our officiant Scott ($60 fee) & our photographer (we tipped $40), and videographer (we tipped $40). They were all so engaging & friendly and we came to find out all of them were from Chicago, where we live!
Scott took us aside before the ceremony, sat down and talked to us for about 10 minutes. He really put us at ease and asked what type of service we were comfortable with. My husband & I are from two different religious backgrounds, so we chose a non-denominational ceremony. It was beautiful, I cried, he cried, and everyone who has watched our wedding video has too! And it was only 7.5 minutes long! Scott was such a great officiant that we tipped him an additional $40 on top of the suggested $60
We had candid photos taken during the ceremony and upgraded our photo package to include posed shots after the wedding. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Our photographer was professional and extremely talented. She had us make an appointment to view our photos the next day!
The following morning we headed over to the Chapel to see our proofs. The photography office was small, but had 5-6 desks set up with computers for Brides & Grooms to see their pictures & videos on a big screen. Not only were the pictures phenomenal they also had our wedding video ready for viewing! We loved it so much (I cried again) we decided to buy the wedding DVD (including the copyright to make copies for our families). They set up our slide show and the pictures were just more than I could have hoped for. We loved those so much that we decided to buy the photo CD (including copyright to make as many sets of prints as we would like!!). Since we upgraded on top of the original upgrade, they threw in the whole set of 85 / 4x6 prints.
In total we spent less than $1000.00 for our whole wedding. And it could not have been a more perfect day.
