Summary: My husband and I wanted a no stress wedding so we decided to elope to Vegas. Of course there was a bit of stress, but none of it had to do with the wonderful ceremony we had at Cupid's Wedding Chapel on February 21, 2009.

Content: After researching chapels for a month, we decided on Cupid's Wedding Chapel. Their website sold us. Not only was it informative, it was modern and the videos were excellent. We watched just about all of the videos that were posted. We were impressed by the videography and the Reverend Langford. We knew his script by heart before we had our ceremony from watching so many videos! They also stream your wedding live so we got to see quite a few as they actually happened!

I made all of the arrangements with the chapel via email. The wedding coordinator Natalia was efficient and returned emails promptly. I was glad I could use email to handle this because we live in the Eastern time zone and both my husband and I work schedules that would have made calling out to Nevada tedious. Because we registered online, we received a $50 dollar discount on our wedding package.

On the day of the wedding, the Reverend and photographer were great. Both are funny, over the top Las Vegas characters without being characitures. Although the bride's room and the chapel itself appear a bit dated, you do not get that impression from either our video or photos.

The Reverend Langford made me laugh the entire time, which was just fine! He even had to change up his scripted ceremony to accommodate our laughter. His ability to do improvisation is impressive. The photographer continued the lighthearted move during photos and took quite a few nice shots. Best of all they did not hard sell us on the pictures!

The woman who ran the desk and the other woman who helped us review our pictures were just okay. The woman at the desk gave me the wrong flowers and my husband the wrong boutonniere for our package and because of her error, the woman at the photography station shorted us two photos. When I realized this a few days later back home, I emailed Natalia and she generously allowed us to pick 10 more photos. I think it was an appropriate response to my minor complaint.

I would highly recommend Cupid's to a bride and groom who want to get married without the fuss and still have great photos and a dvd for the memories. It is not a chapel to have a huge wedding in or for the bride that wants a fairytale backdrop for her day. It is not the newest chapel on the Strip but the service was good for the price and the Reverend was unforgettable.

We plan to renew our vows there in the future - which you can do for free if you get married there!
