Las Vegas Wedding Story

Definitely NOT the best Vegas has to offer

Summary: We expected more out of a "Best wedding chapel in Vegas" for a supposed 11 years straight.

Content: We were married at The Little Church of the West on May 28, 2008. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 4. They do alot of the whole telling you one thing and then changing it at the last minute. We were told back in November that we could incorporate a sand ceremony into the service and when I sent them the wording for the ceremony two weeks prior to our wedding, I was told that their policy changed and we couldn't do a sand ceremony. Also, you can only say your own vows if you have them memorized or if you want to read them from a paper (tacky). The minister will NOT help you by reading a few words at a time for you to repeat. I'm sure, if we would have slipped him some extra $$$$ he would have done it. The dressing room was dirty and dingy and the air conditioning wasn't even running when I arrived so it was hot in the room. Our ceremony was short and sweet, 4 minutes and 49 seconds to be exact. The history of the chapel on the DVD is longer then our ceremony. The video quality is good and the pictures were nice as well. The only problem I had with the pictures was the pictures on the proof sheet are small so it's hard to tell which one is the best when picking the ONE pose for your package. Also, they want $350 for a disc with all the pictures on it. They only took about 20-30 pictures of us and they were all taken inside of the church. All in all, our ceremony was short and sweet and we definitely got what we paid for. If I had to do it over again, I would have checked out a few more options before settling on this church.
