Las Vegas Wedding Story Amazing and intimate destination wedding Date: 01/05/08 User: oksoonergirl26 Summary: The Valley of Fire is THE place to have an outdoor wedding in Las Vegas! Content: After waiting 5 years to marry the man of my dreams we arrived in Vegas to be married on the 18th of November. I had been planning a Vegas wedding for about 2 years (hoping for a proposal) and when it came I thought I was prepared. I had narrowed down my choices to the Flamingo Wedding Chapel, TI chapel and using a company called The Las Vegas Wedding Company (not the one that uses just initials). I went with the Company because I fell totally in love with the Valley of Fire! The coordinator (Toni) worked out some financial arrangements for me(due to a wreck 3 weeks before the wedding) and answered all of my phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. We were picked up at our hotel on time and driven out to the Valley of Fire by the photographer (Michael) and the minister and Videographer met us there. The ceremony was beautiful and personalized and our pictures were stunning. We received 183 pictures on a disc and the video of the ceremony 20 minutes after we were finished. I paid a total of $599.00 for the pics, vid, ceremony, bouquet, and transportation to and from the hotel. I had to tip the photographer and minister, but still that only set me back $120. The natural beauty of the setting makes a perfect backdrop for the most important day of your life and The Las Vegas Wedding Company treats you as if you are the only couple they are dealing with that day and they go above and beyond to make your day special. I also used Glamsquad for my hair and make-up, they are every bit as good and advertised! I decided on the outdoor wedding for the sheer beauty of the setting and the deal I got on the Valley of Fire package. The other chapels and hotel chapels just could not compete with the picture and video price and quality. I have all the copies and I had the enlargements made myself. They also provide free on-line viewing of the ceremony and the pictures. I was told that it was available about 4 hours after the ceremony. So if you want an outdoor wedding use The Las Vegas Wedding Company (not LVWC.com). |
