Las Vegas Wedding Story nightmare wedding Date: 08/02/07 User: boo Summary: hot, unorganized, embarassed to have our guests there. Content: We were promised a limo that fit 26 people, we got a limo that fit 8. We found out later that we were lucky to get a limo at all. When we pulled into the parking lot I went into survival mode. Get in, get married, get out. The A/C was broke. I had 30 guests that had flown from all parts of the country that were sweaty and confused. They sat outside in heat with many other wedding parties while my man and I tried to figure out what was going on. They couldn't find our paper work. I explained that I had paid them for a $1500 reception so they got us in a room as quickly as they could but after the stiffling ceremony noone could tell us where our reception was! They gave me the name of the place and said to wait outside until they found the address. I went outside to inform my melting guests then called 411 from the cell to ask for the # of the reception hall. THere was no record of the destination. People were getting more upset by the minute. I tried to get inside to see if the woman had found the address but the guy at the door wouldn't let me in. We all left because we were hot, angry and scared for our safety with all the angry people. It was a mess. DO NOT GO TO GARDEN OF LOVE!!! |
