Content: The Top Five Reasons to Get Married in Las Vegas, the Wedding Capital of the World

1. Getting Married in Las Vegas is Easy
Over the years the number one reason to get married in Las Vegas hasn’t changed: It’s easy. Unlike many other states, Las Vegas, Nevada, does not require blood tests and does not have a waiting period in order to obtain a marriage license. In fact, the process to obtain a marriage license in Las Vegas usually only takes about 10 minutes, but varies depending on the length of the line. In Las Vegas, all you need to do to obtain a marriage license is to fill out the appropriate paperwork and take it to the marriage license bureau which is located at 201 Clark Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89155. Also, both bride and groom must fill out the marriage license application and be present at the bureau. The fee for a marriage license is $55.00 and the marriage bureau only accepts cash. All applicants must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you have any questions about obtaining your marriage license the Las Vegas marriage bureau can be contacted at: (702) 671-0600.

2. Getting Married in Las Vegas is Relatively Inexpensive
If all you want is to get married as fast and as cheap as possible, Las Vegas is the place for you! In Las Vegas wedding ceremonies are ordered a la’ carte. This means that you only have to pay for the services that you desire. If flowers and wedding pictures are unimportant to you, you can choose to simply pay for the wedding ceremony itself and save hundreds if not thousands of dollars in wedding fees. However, if you desire a more traditional wedding ceremony Las Vegas’ wedding chapels can also provide that for a rather inexpensive sum. Also, if money is of concern to you, you should consider getting married at one of the independent wedding chapels because they tend to be less expensive than the wedding chapels inside of the various hotels.

3. Getting Married in Las Vegas Weddings Requires Less Planning
In Las Vegas you can literally arrive, obtain a marriage license, and get married all in one day. Most of the independent wedding chapels provide same day wedding ceremonies and walk-ins are always welcome. Las Vegas is a city built around customer service and its workforce will do most anything to accommodate you. All of the wedding chapels are fully decorated so that they are ready to use at any time. Also, many of the wedding chapels provide on site flowers, dresses, rings, photography, and limo service in order to accommodate you. In fact, if you have your wedding ceremonies at a hotel and casino the wedding staff will also help you plan a reception.

4. Las Vegas Provides a Variety of Wedding Chapels and Wedding Ceremonies
In Las Vegas there are many venues to choose from. Each of the wedding chapels are decorated differently and have their own theme and feel. You can have anything from a medieval themed wedding at A Garden of Love wedding chapel to a more traditional wedding ceremony at The Little Chapel of Flowers wedding chapel. One of the biggest perks of having your wedding at a Las Vegas hotel and casino is that you can benefit from the big money that the hotel and casinos spent in designing and decorating. The Wynn Hotel and Casino even accommodates the Jewish Faith with specialized ceremonies.

5. Las Vegas is a Fun place to Return for Anniversaries
Who doesn’t love coming to Las Vegas? Las Vegas is the perfect wedding destination because it will be a great place to return and celebrate your wedding anniversaries. Las Vegas is no longer just about bright lights and showgirls. Today, Las Vegas is one of the premiere destinations of the world with some of the most exclusive restaurants, designer boutiques, and awe-inspiring shows and musicals in the world. Also, Las Vegas isn’t just for adults anymore. Las Vegas hotel and Casinos have worked arduously to become “family friendly” and most have entertainment for the whole family. You can ride roller coasters, go shopping, attend a luau, and even race in race cars. No matter what you enjoy doing; Las Vegas can make it happen.
