Set a budget. Know how much you are willing to pay and don’t budge from that. Once you get to a chapel, the operators will try to sell you everything under the moon. Remember you don’t have to spend a lot to make your Las Vegas wedding memorable. 2. Know what you want. Know what is important to you to make your wedding day special. For some, a wedding dress is the most important. For others a particular religions ceremony is what counts. Know what is important to you and make sure you pick a chapel that can provide it. 3. Plan ahead. Although many Las Vegas wedding chapels can do same day weddings, the only way to be sure to get what you want is to plan ahead. For example, many of the Las Vegas wedding chapels provide a complimentary limo but this is limited by availability. If you plan ahead you will ensure you get everything you want. Also, if you know when and where you are going to get married in Las Vegas many of the chapels provide a live internet broadcast of your wedding. This way any friends and family who can not attend your wedding ceremony can still witness it. 4. Get organized. Being on top of things saves time and lowers stress. 5. Get your marriage license a head of time. The last thing you want to do is stand in a long line for a marriage license before having your wedding ceremony. In Las Vegas, marriage licenses can be obtained at the marriage license bureau at the Regional Justice Center. The marriage license bureau is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The line for marriage licenses is usually the longest on the weekends.
