The color of the building is sort of a soft yellow. The two front windows as well as front door are framed in white columns. There are four lion statues that sit at the front door. At the top of the building sits a sort of steeple. This steeple is the only indication that this building is a wedding chapel. Otherwise, the building looks like a nice house. When you walk into the Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel you enter into a small room with a desk at either side. The room is clean, nicely decorated, and professional looking. I especially liked the style of fans hanging from the ceiling. The Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel is absolutely beautiful! The Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel has only one indoor chapel. The chapel seats about fifty people. The front of the chapel is decorated with large hanging multi-layered crème colored drapes. The drapes are extremely rich looking and provide a beautiful focal point for the chapel. Also at the front of the room is a stand behind which the minister conducts the wedding ceremony. The wedding chapel also features numerous large, silk flower bouquets that line the chapel’s maple wood pews. Matching bouquets sit at the front of the wedding chapel. When I visited the Mon Bel Ami wedding chapel there was at least nine different flower bouquets. Each bouquet is made out of several different types of flowers including different colored roses. The chapel is lighted by one large hanging lighting fixture and two smaller matching fixtures. Also lining each of the pews are candles which are lit during the chapel’s “candle light” ceremony. The chapel is extremely clean and new looking. The entrance to the Mon Bel Ami Wedding chapel looks like someone’s nicely manicured front yard. The yard is lined with several square knee high hedges. The yard is landscaped with grass and there are at least five large trees in the yard. Also located on the chapel grounds is a medium sized white, wire frame gazebo. The gazebo has ivy covering much of the frame as well as some flowers. Inside the gazebo is a park bench. Along the left side of the wedding chapel is an outdoor area. The right wall of this outdoor area is completely covered in ivy. There are several park benches and a stone walk way. The left wall of the area is completely deserted of any plant life and leaves a view of a junky looking parking lot. Service Rating: 3 The reason the Mon Bel Ami wedding chapel received a 3 for service is the “hard sell” tactics used by the staff. When I visited, there was only one woman working, Danielle. Danielle was extremely nice and was more than happy to show me around the chapel. Danielle personally walked me around the chapel and was so proud of the Mon Bel Ami wedding chapel I thought she owned it. Danielle was more than happy to show me each room of the chapel and discuss each feature of the chapel with me. However, unlike other Las Vegas wedding chapels which just allow you to leave, Danielle insisted I sit down at her desk and make an appointment with her. This process was much timelier than I would have liked. First, the chapel does not have pre-made brochures so I had to wait while Danielle printed out the different wedding packages for me. Second, because Danielle was the only person working I had to sit and wait each time she answered the phone. Third, Danielle insisted we make a “check-up” appointment for about two weeks later.
