Take your own photos: Yes Seating: 20 guests Music Options: Piano No Organ No Custom Wedding CD Yes Celebrities Married Here: None Services Offered: Outside Photo places Same day ceremonies Editor's Review - Wedding Bells Chapel Chapel Quality Rating: 2 The Wedding Bells Chapel website features a picture of a newly married couple kissing in a gazebo that overlooks the famous Las Vegas strip. I received many emails from brides-to-be asking me if I had been to this beautiful location. When I visited the Wedding Bells Chapel there was no location or gazebo that overlooked the Las Vegas strip. I am going to have to guess this is camera trickery. When I arrived at the Alexis Park Hotel I found no signs directing me to the wedding chapel. As a result I was lost for about ten to fifteen minutes before I found the Wedding Bells Chapel. At this time I witnessed wedding guests arriving for a wedding. The guests were also lost. The Wedding Bells Chapel is located in between the Alexis Park’s two pools. This is a potential problem. When I arrived at the Wedding Bells Chapel it was about 8:00 p.m. The pool was filled with screaming kids and teenagers despite the pool hours ending at 6:00 p.m. The noise from the pool was so loud that I went to the front desk to complain because I felt sorry for the couple who was getting married. When I finally found the Wedding Bells Chapel I was surprised. The chapel, which is an outdoor gazebo, looked quite lovely. The gazebo as well as the surrounding greenery was lit up with white Christmas lights. There were some white statutes set in the surrounding area that added a nice touch to this outdoor setting. The guest seating at the Wedding Bells Chapel consists of ordinary, individual chairs. Chairs can be added to accommodate larger wedding parties. Despite all of my dislikes of the location of the chapel, I thought that the Wedding Bells Chapel gazebo was a beautiful nighttime wedding venue. Service Rating: 2 When I called to make an appointment to visit the Wedding Bells Chapel, I spoke with a Jim. Jim was very friendly and outgoing. At this time he told me to arrive at the wedding chapel around 7:30 p.m. I thought this was an odd time. However, when I arrived at the Wedding Bells Chapel I understood. The Wedding Bells Chapel gazebo is set in the middle of the Alexis Park Hotel grounds and has no on-site office. This worries me because if there were any last minute changes or problems with your wedding there is no staff on the premises to help. Another implication of the lack of an on-site office is that there was no one for me to meet with or to talk with when I visited the Wedding Bells Chapel. Lastly, I thought it was odd that the Wedding Bells Chapel does not accept blocked calls. A blocked call is when your number remains private and cannot be viewed by the person you are calling. I usually block my number to protect my privacy because I don’t want every wedding chapel in Las Vegas calling me and soliciting me to book my wedding. The fact that the Wedding Bells Chapel does not accept blocked calls made me feel uneasy. Wedding Bells Chapel Chapel News |
