First of all, the Venetian Hotel is exquisite. I must confess that I am biased because I have a certain love for 16th Centaury French décor. If I had to choose one word to describe the Venetian Hotel it is ornate. Every inch of the hotel is decorated absolutely lavishly. The walls are adorned with large gold framed oil paintings and large lighting structures. The Venetian’s ceilings are painted to look like the sky. The floors are either beautifully carpeted or made of marble. Now you may be wondering what the Venetian Hotel’s decorations have to do with the wedding chapel. The surroundings of the hotel provide the setting and the ambiance for the wedding chapel. Admittedly, the Venetian’s wedding chapel is not overly impressive. As I expected, it is a beautifully decorated room and has all of the usual suspects: chandelier, guest seating, and flower arrangements. The wedding chapel is decorated in neutral beige tones with red accents. One feature I especially liked about the wedding chapel is that it faces large French doors. The French doors are covered with large, dramatic curtains. Through these doors you can view the Venetian’s gorgeous landscaping. This provides both a beautiful background for a wedding ceremony as well as a fantastic place to take wedding photographs. In fact, if the weather permits, you can choose to have the doors open during your wedding ceremony. The Venetian’s guest seating is made of up individual cushioned, wooden framed chairs. The chairs are pretty, but not my favorite. The Venetian’s wedding chapel can seat up to 75 guests, but can be expanded to fit 150 if necessary. The Venetian has a bridal dressing room that is located across the hallway from the wedding chapel. The bridal dressing room is a bit small, but nice. The bridal dressing room has a small couch and a makeup table. The dressing room also has a large three panel mirror and a large-walk in bathroom. Service Rating: 4 The staff at the Venetian wedding chapel is very professional. Dressed in dark blue uniform suits, the Venetian wedding chapel employs 9 different wedding coordinators. Once your Venetian wedding is booked, you are assigned a personal wedding coordinator that will help you plan your entire wedding event. The wedding coordinator I met with was extremely friendly. She offered to show me the wedding chapel and was extremely patient with me while I took several different pictures of the wedding chapel. Also, the wedding coordinator was extremely knowledgeable about the Venetian’s wedding services. There was not one question I asked her that she did not know the answer to. Unlike some of the other hotel’s wedding chapels, the Venetian’s wedding chapel is flexible. For example, the Venetian wedding chapel allows outside flowers and does not charge for allowing them. The Venetian offers a 20% discount on the bride and groom’s hotel rate.
